Queens Diamond Jubilee 2012 celebrations via apps

We are getting closer to the big celebrations that will be talking place in a couple of weeks that will mark the Queens Diamond Jubilee that celebrates Sixty years of Queen Elizabeth II being on the throne, and to help you with the occasion we have some apps for you.

First up for iOS users we have Diamond Jubilee that contains a variety of interesting information about the big event. All of this is stored on your device and there are hyperlinks that provide access to more. Users can find out about all the big events that are planned for the 2012 celebrations, and read about the life of Queen Elizabeth. You can even find out what life was like in Britain sixty years ago when the Queen took the throne, and much more. This is available from the App Store for £0.69/$0.99.

Another iOS application we have for you is Queen’s Diamond Jubilee Quiz that can be played on its own or with family and friends. The app is suitable for all ages and features questions on the Royal Family, palaces and places, royal ancestors, and more. The quiz is simple to use and is organised into rounds on different topics, and is available on the App Store for £0.69/$0.99.

2012 Jubilee is again available to iOS users and will provide you with information to what is happening before, during and after the celebrations that are taking place. There is even party locations provided with links to the official organizers web pages, and the app feeds directly from the Internet so the latest information is provided as it happens. For Android users we have the free Diamond Jubilee Countdown that basically counts you down to the celebrations on the bank holiday on Tuesday, June 5th 2012, and this can be found on Google Play. Another Android application we have for you is Queen’s Diamond Jubilee that is available on Google Play for £0.50, which has all of the events taking place separated by their dates along with a full profile on the Queen.
