Nokia Lumia 900 screen gets nailed on camera
Now we know just how much our readers love to see a smartphone being put to the test to see just how tough a device is, so what we have for your viewing consideration below is a little video that shows the Nokia Lumia 900 Windows Phone being put to the toughness test when it comes to its screen
The Nokia Lumia 900 screen hammer test video comes our way courtesy of the guys over at Engadget, and by way of Nokia Conversations, who decided to deliver some video proof on just how tough the touch screen of the latest Windows Phone is.
The Nokia Lumia 900 has a unibody polycarbonate housing and Corning Gorilla Glass on its display, so to prove just how tough that display is they decided to use a hammer and nails, and not only do they hammer a nail onto the display, but also reverse the operation and use the Nokia Lumia 900 to hammer a nail into a piece of wood.
Of course this test basically proves that it is that Gorilla Glass that can withstand such tortuous rigours, and as such many other smartphone that come with Corning Gorilla Glass should be just as tough as the Nokia Lumia 900.
Personally I am still playing nice along with my original Samsung Galaxy S, which has Gorilla Glass, and is still in pristine condition despite numerous accidental drops; however I am not one of the brave one’s that would actually take a hammer and nail to the display, but simply take it for granted that the galls does what it is said to do.
Anyway, if you would like to see the Nokia Lumia 900 being put to the toughness test head on down and mash thay play button…enjoy.
