A while back a new Android smartphone was made available in India from Micromax, the A50 Ninja phone which was dubbed a superphone due the the handset sporting a voice assistant called Aisha, albeit being a low speced affordable smartphone.
According to IT News Online, the Micromax A50 Ninja phone is an affordable smartphone for the masses that have longed for a handset that is not just smart but also an intelligent device.
Spec wise the Micromax N50 Ninja offers a 3.1-inch capacitive touch screen along with a 2 megapixel camera, a 650MHz processor of some description, 3G, WiFi, Bluetooth, GPRS, gravity sensor, access to Facebook and Twitter, runs Android 2.3.6 Gingerbread and is a dual SIM device with microSD expansion up to 32GB.
The big attraction with the A50 Ninja seems to be the Aisha voice recognition application that translates words into actions by speaking to the handset, and to ensure Aisha functions smoothly and delivers an immediate intelligent reply, Micromax has teamed up with Indian portals like Simplymarry.com and Timesjob.com along with others.
Price wise the A50 Ninja phone commands a price tag ranging from Rs. 4999 up to Rs. 12500.
Over on Engadget, although some commenter’s are saying the A70 Ninja is a very good smartphone, but what stuck out the most was one commenter mentioned that this Android handset is very affordable, and that is why it has lower specs, whilst another said, “Wow Asia, welcome to 5 years ago,” do you agree with such comments?
