There are a number of different third party applications available for the social networking site, Facebook, and today we have news of an app that works well with Facebook that is called Color.
The application is a live streaming app that is available for both the Android and iOS platforms that allows users to stream live video broadcasts to their friends and family on the social networking site. It works over both Wi-Fi and mobile Internet connections and allows live video broadcasts of up to thirty seconds in length.
User’s friends can also hear audio enabled live broadcasts no matter what wireless carrier they are using, and users of the application can select who they want to receive the broadcasts from all of their Facebook friends, family, Facebook groups, and even just one friend. The Live video broadcasts are streamed directly from your device to the handsets of your Facebook friends that also have the Color application installed.
As soon as you start broadcasting your friends that also have the app are given a notification so they can watch live if they want to. Live video broadcasts are instantly posted to Facebook, and photos or groups of photos can be quickly published to your Facebook account. Photos can also be captioned or tagged, and your Color account is linked directly to your Facebook account.
Depending on users privacy settings any activity that users do on Color will be represented onto their Facebook accounts, and Likes and comments are also instantly posted onto users Facebook accounts. Color can be found free on the App Store and is compatible with the iPhone, iPad, and iPod Touch running iOS 4.2 or later. Android users can find the application over at Google Play.
