Now we all know that Sony will be delivering the Android Ice Cream Sandwich update to the Sony Xperia S at some point in the game, with the latest time frame for that update being sometime in the second part of this quarter, although there is no concrete date as yet. However if you would like to know what Android 4.0 looks like on the Xperia S then the video footage we have below might be of interest to you.
For your viewing consideration we have the Ice Cream Sandwich 4.0 for Xperia S video, which comes our way courtesy of the guys over at Ubergizmo and by way of YouTube user pop1788, and delivers just over five minuted of showing off Android Ice Cream Sandwich playing nice on the Sony Xperia S smartphone.
One does have to say thought that unless you can speak Thai you wont be able to understand what is being said in the video; however the footage seems to cover everything about the Android Ice Cream Sandwich update, and it appears that Sony has preserved their custom launcher.
Furthermore it would appear that Sony has thrown a new gallery, and new Walkman player into the mix that support gestures that enable the user to reduce or increase the thumbnail size.
Anyway enough from me, all you need do is head on down and hit that play button to check out Android Ice Cream Sandwich playing nice on the Sony Xperia S…enjoy.
