President of Ematic, Roy Rayn said that the company is “very pleased to include the eGlide Steal in our growing collection of Android 4.0 tablets”, and that the company wanted to provide a device that offered consumers an “optimal tablet experience without forcing the consumer to spend hundreds of dollars”.
As the tablet PC will come running Android ICS users will experience a faster and smoother experience with a more intuitive user interface, and offers access to thousands of useful and entertaining applications. There is also over 2.5 million eBooks available via the eGlide Steal’s Kobo eReading application.
The device is slim and lightweight that can easy slip into a briefcase or travel bag and the 1 GHz processor has a dedicated GPU and 1GB or RAM for an even better experience. Users will have access to 4GB of on-board storage that can be expanded via the microSD card slot, and an additional 5GB of cloud storage.
Other features include a front facing camera, Wi-Fi, HDMI port, support for 1080p HD video playback, and built-in 3-axis gyroscope coupled with an accelerometer for advanced motion sensing. The eGlide Steal is available at walmart.com, jr.com, and D&H Distributing for only $119.95.
