ViewSonic has announced its new tablet that is aimed for consumers that are on more of a budget, and according to Hot Hardware the device still offers some premium features. The device features a 1GHz processor powering a 9.7-inch SuperClear IPS 1,024 x 768 capacitive multi-touch screen, and 4GB of on board storage. There is also a 1.3 megapixel front facing camera and to connect the device to other equipment there is a HDMI output, USB port, and a microSD card slot.
The ViewPad E100 will also support Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n and Bluetooth, and the device is available for around only $300. Consumers that decide that the ViewPad E100 is for them are treated to an incredibly thin design but with a large screen size, which is the same size to an Apple iPad. The display is an ideal size for applications and the high resolution panel offers users a wide viewing angle.
It is ready to use straight out of the box and comes with some premium pre-installed applications that includes the likes of the Kindle for Android eReader, Dropbox cloud storage, 1Mobile Market, TuneIn Radio, Swype keyboard, Amazon Appstore for Android, and much more. There is also ViewSonic’s exclusive ViewScene 3D interface that provides users even more options to personalize their device.
