ICS Motorola RAZR V & MAXX heading for South Asia

If you happen to be a Motorola Android smartphone fan over in South Asia, and have been waiting for a variant of the popular Motorola RAZR to hit your country, you might like to hear that Motorola has now announced the Motorola RAZR V and the Motorola RAZR MAXX for South Asian markets, which include India, Thailand, Singapore, Indonesia and Malaysia.

According to the guys over at Phone Arena, the Motorola RAZR V can be thought of as a cheaper Android alternative to the Motorola RAZR handset, although not a svelte, but doe’s an an impressive slimness of 8.35mm.

Spec wise the Motorola RAZR V offers the user a 4.3-inch qHD diagonal Gorilla Glass touch screen along with an 8 megapixel rear facing camera ColorBoost Display tech, a 1.2GHz dual core processor, and runs the Android Ice Cream Sandwich operating system out of the gate.

When it comes to the specifications of the Motorola RAZR MAXX I’m sure you already know all of them so wont go over them again here, other than the handset sorts a 4.3-inch Super AMOLED Advanced touch screen, /8 megapixel rear facing camera, and is 8.9mm thick.

The senior regional sales director for Motorola Mobility South Asia, Robert van Tilburg has said “RAZR is synonymous with design excellence and both Motorola RAZR MAXX and Motorola RAZR V reflect that.”

The Motorola RAZR MAXX is to begin shipping at the end of this month, whilst the Motorola RAZR V, which will be available in Rebel Pink, Glacier White and Charcoal will become available sometime in Q3.
