A couple of day ago it came to light that there was a possibility that Sprint might be gearing up to offer a white version of the HTC EVO 4G LTE smartphone, which we reported on the leak which showed a white EVO 4G LTE model in Sprint’s warehouse inventory. However it appears that Sprint has now inadvertently kind of confirmed there is a white HTC EVO 4G LTE in the offering.
According to the guys over at Phone Arena by way of the guys over at Engadget, it appears that Sprint has shown off an image of the white HTC EVO 4G LTE smartphone in an advert over on their own website, and this is without Sprint making any announcement there is a white model coming.
The Sprint advertisement (image below) promotes a 100-buck credit service for customers that purchase the HTC EVO 4G LTE or the Sprint Samsung Epic 4G Touch and transfer their number to their new smartphone, and the advert shows a white version of the aforementioned Android handset.
Thus although Sprint hasn’t yet officially confirmed a white HTC EVO 4G LTE is in the offering, it would seem Sprint has at least some white EVO 4G LTE handsets languishing in their warehouses whilst using the device to promote this particular deal.
So, one can presume that a white version of the HTC EVO 4G LTE for Sprint does indeed exist, and sooner or later Sprint will get round to officially announcing its availability, so with this in mind, would you pick up the white EVO 4G LTE from Sprint if it ever hits the mobile space?
