For those over here in the United Kingdom that are patiently waiting to get their hands on the Nokia 808 PureView smartphone, you just might like to know that you can now slap your pre-order in for the Nokia 808 PureView handset with Amazon who has a shipping date for the handset set for the end of the month.

According to the guys over at Pocket-lint, Amazon UK has now posted a pre-order page for the Nokia 808 PureView SIM free and commands an asking price of a couple of pennies shy of 500 quid and has a release date of the 30th of June.

Apparently if you are a Brit it would appear that you will be coughing up more cash for the Nokia 808 PureView smartphone than our American cousins, as Amazon US recently revealed they will be offering the Nokia 808 PureView for $699, roughly £447, so it looks like us Brits will be dishing our an extra 50-quid to own the device.

I’m sure those that have had their eye on the Nokia 808 PureView know what the smartphone has to offer, but in case you need reminding, the handset sports a 4-inch AMOLED ClearBlack Gorilla Glass touch screen, 1.3 GHz single core ARM 11 processor, Nokia Belle operating system, 512MB RAM, 1GB ROM, 16GB internal storage, microSD expansion up to 32GB, WiFi, Bluetooth 3.0, a 41 megapixel rear facing auto-focus camera with Carl Zeiss optics and Xenon flash, 1080p video and a VGA front facing camera.

So with that said and done, will any of our UK readers be hitting up Amazon UK to place their pre-order for the Nokia 808 PureView?
