With Google I/O 2012 kicking off later today with the expectation of Android Jelly Bean and the Google Nexus 7 Tablet, we shouldn’t forget that other Android slate are also coming to market, and one such ICS tablet has now been announced by Ematic, called the eGlide Pro X.

According to the guys over at Android Central the eGlide Pro X tablet is a 9.7-inch Android tablet sporting a 4:3 display along with a 1.2GHz processor, 400MHz GPU, WiFi, 8GB internal storage, along with 5GB of cloud storage, a built in three-axis gyroscope, front and rear cameras of some description, microSD expansion up to 32GB and runs the Android Ice Cream Sandwich operating system.

The Android 4.0 eGlide Pro X comes packing thousands of apps and programs via Ematic’s App Shop including an office suite, the ability to browse in excess of 2.5 million ebooks in the included Kobo e-reading app along with utilising the Ematic Digital Assistant and Navigator’s hands free and write your emails via voice to text tech.

However probably the attractive thing with the Ematic eGlide Pro X tablet is the price tag, as this Android Ice Cream Sandwich slate carries a low price tag of $219.99 and is available to purchase from Walmart.com, jr.com and D&H Distributing.

So, if you are in the market for a reasonably cheap Android 4.0 tablet, does the eGlide Pro X price tag capture your attention, if so feel free to let us know by dropping us a line to our comments area below.
