Although the smartphone has taken the mobile space by storm, there are still feature phones coming out over in the good old US of , and one such feature phone is the Samsung Intensity III, without any signs of a touch screen, but with a slide out QWERTY keyboard, and destined for Verizon.
And the image of the Samsung Intensity III (above) comes our way courtesy of the guys over at Unwired View and by way of Phone Arena who were sent the Samsung Intensity III picture by an unnamed tipster, and is of course the follow up device to the Samsung Intensity II.
The word is the Samsung Intensity III will be hitting Verizon shelves in the not too distant future, and that slide out QWERTY keyboard will come in handy for tapping out those text messages, other than that there’s no word on what specs the Intensity III offers, other than a 2.2 to 2.4-inch display.
Hopefully the Samsung Intensity III will be offered as a free handset by Verizon, otherwise we can’t really see customers rushing to grab this one, especially in the day and age of the smartphone, but who knows, no doubt there are a few out there that still shy away from a smartphone in favour of a feature phone.
We’d like to ask any of our readers if they are still living in the past and using a feature phone, and if so why haven’t you jumped aboard the smartphone train?
