iPhone 4S smokes in guys pocket: video
The other day there was a report that the new Samsung Galaxy S3 had a meltdown and sparked into flames, but it’s nothing new for a smartphone to get too hot to handle, as we have all seen the pictures on the net before, and the iPhone is amongst them. Now we have word of an iPhone 4S going up in smoke in some guy’s pocket, the video evidence of which we have for your viewing consideration below.
The iPhone 4S on fire in pocket video comes our way courtesy of the guys over at Ubergizmo and by way of 9to5 Mac, and this particular incident apparently happen in Finland, and was originally reported by Kauppalehti.fi, and shows a guy getting out of a van and suddenly clouds of smoke appears from his pocket.
Fortunately the guy manages to get his burning iPhone 4S, which was apparently only 3-months old, out of his pocket and threw it to the ground and moved away from the smoking iOS smartphone.
Of course there is always a possibility that this was some kind of stunt, as whatever is in the guy’s pocket only starts smoking as soon as he gets out of the van, or it could be just coincidence that it didn’t start smoking whilst he was sat in the van, so the big question here is, is this footage fake?
Anyway, I’ll leave you to head on down and mash that play button so you can check out the footage to draw your own conclusions, which you can of course let us know by posting to our comments area below..enjoy.

Well, isn’t it convienient that there was a video camera there to record…this…STUNT
Ha ha! That ‘security camera’ sure does shake around a lot – almost as if it’s being filmed by hand. Hmmm….
You’d think the accomplices to this scam would’ve a least used a tripod in this fake video.
