If you are one of the Android faithful over in India, and thinking it will be ages before you can play with a device running the latest Android operating system, Android Jelly Bean, you shouldn’t worry too much because there is a new Android jelly Bean smartphone launching in India at the end of next month.
According to an article over in IBN Live, that Android Jelly Bean smartphone will be from Karbonn Mobiles, and is called the Karbonn Smart A24, which according to Karbonn is a smartphone/tablet Phablet, with a 4.5-inch qHD touch screen with a 960 x 540 pixel resolution.
Other specifications of the Kerbonn Smart A24 Android Jelly Bean phone-tab include a 1.2GHz dual core processor, although from which chipset vendor hasn’t been disclosed, along with an 8 megapixel rear facing camera and an unspecified front facing snapper, although it is expected the camera will have LED flash support, 3G, WiFi, GPS and other standard Android sensors.
Other than that there isn’t a great deal known about the Karbonn Smart A24 Phablet at this time, and there are no images of the handset currently available; however the word is the Karbonn Smart A24 is scheduled for release in India by the end of August and will apparently command a price tag of RS. 13000.
Other than that, the article does make mention that Karbonn has already announced tablets that run Android jelly Bean along with Android Ice Cream Sandwich smartphones also due launch in India next month.
