Sony Xperia J Android ICS smartphone outed
Over a couple of months ago a new device popped up from Sony called simply the Sony ST62i, and back then there wasn’t a great deal known about the new Sony handset; however it now appears that we at least know the name of the ST26i, along with a few expected specs the smartphone will sport.
According to the guys over at Recombu, the same Indonesian Postal info website that previously outed info on Sony Xperia smartphone has now revealed that the Sony ST62i will be known as the Sony Xperia J smartphone.
When it comes to expected specifications for the Sony Xperia J, the guys over at GSM Arena say that the Android smartphone is likely to come out to play packing Android Ice Cream Sandwich, along with a 4-inch WVGA touch screen, and a Qualcomm MSM7627A 1GHz single core Scorpion processor.
The Sony Xperia J is a mid range Android 4.0 smartphone, and there’s no word on whether the ICS handset will eventually see an update to the latest Android operating system, Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, and obviously there’s no hard and fast word on when the Xperia J is likely to come out to play.
However as the Sony Xperia J is alongside the Sony Xperia SL, which is expected to hit the mobile space sometime in Q3, it is possibly the Sony Xperia J could make an appearance in the mobile space round about the same time. So does the Sony Xperia J capture the attention of any of our Android faithful readers?
