Since Samsung first announced the Galaxy S3 officially back in May huge numbers of Android fans have been trying to get their hands on the elusive device, and in the United States demand far out stripped supply that saw a number of delays in the handset reaching consumers, and today we have news that the 16GB Verizon White Samsung Galaxy S3 can be yours.
The handset on Verizon Wireless has had a rough ride as such following news it featured a locked bootloader, which then led to Samsung announcing the availability of the Samsung Galaxy S3 Developer Edition. As an article over at Engadget is reporting some lucky customers of Big Red have already been receiving their orders for the new smartphone, but others have been met with another unexpected delay.
Now though as of yesterday Verizon customers should finally be able to get their hands on the lovely new Android smartphone from Samsung. The wireless carrier is offering its users the opportunity to bag themselves a Samsung Galaxy S3 in both Pebble Blue and Marble White colour options with shipping promised by the 16th.
The 16GB version will set you back $199.99 with a new two year contract, or if you decide to purchase the device SIM free it will set you back a cool $599.99. If you are after more storage space the 32GB version will set you back $249.99.
To recap the new Samsung smartphone comes with a stunning 4.8-inch HD Super AMOLED touchscreen display, which is powered by a dual-core Snapdragon S4 processor clocked at 1.5GHz, and there is also 2GB of RAM and 4G LTE connectivity. The device is likely to sell in the bucket load in the coming months, and is only likely to be rivalled by the Apple iPhone 5 when it is released later this year.
