Meizu MX 4-core available & looks better than iPhone
One of the most popular smartphones over in China is the dual core Meizu MX, and not too long after the launch of the Meizu MX the handset was made available globally. And now there is a new quad core version of the handset become available in the form of the Meizu MX 4-core.
According to the guys over at GSM Arena, the Meizu MX 4-core smartphone is now available globally, although if you want the Android smartphone, the handset will hit your pocket for a hefty 675-bucks from Amazon for the 64GB model, whilst the smartphone commands a price tag of $699 from Welectronics.
Spec wise the Meizu MX 4-core handset offers a 4-inch touch screen along with an 8 megapixel rear facing auto-focus camera with LED flash, 1080p video, a VGA front facing camera, a 1.4-GHz Cortex-A9 quad core processor, A-GPS, 1GB RAM, 32GB or 64GB internal memory, Bluetooth, WiFi, 3.5mm jack, a 1700mAh battery, measures 121.3 x 63.3 x 10.3mm with a weight of 139 grams and runs the Android Ice Cream Sandwich operating system.
The guys do say that they expect the international price for the Meizu MX 4-core will drop a tad after a few weeks, and for those that might be interested in the handset, you can check out the first benchmark results, and see how they stack up against other quad core devices by hitting up here.
Some have apparently said that the Meizu MX 4-core looks better than the iPhone, and one commenter has said the next iPhone will look like the Meizu MX 4-core.
