Samsung Galaxy S3 Android Jelly Bean update looks promising
Let’s keep this short and sweet, there are many Android smartphones getting ready for its 4.1 update and we here at Phones Review have already mentioned a few of them, we can see the Samsung Galaxy S3 getting its Android Jelly Bean upgrade very soon.
We already reported yesterday that the Samsung Galaxy S2 Jelly Bean update is already being tested, so this surely means that the S3 will most definitely be on the list next, if we look over at Sam Mobile they suggest an September launch or we could indeed see it as early as August.
The update will need approving and those that live in America will have to sit back and wait a little longer, some are even saying that they believe their Samsung Galaxy S3 will get the Android 4.1 update before the Verizon Galaxy Nexus, can Verizon prove these statements wrong? Time will tell and we will be one of the first to notify you if this happens.
If you have an Android smartphone please do let us know if you have had any recent updates, let us know what make and model your phone is and what update you have just installed. This will help us provide other readers of what updates are available to them. Whilst you wait for the SGS3 Android Jelly Bean update why not let us know how you are getting on with your Android device.
Devices Getting Android Jelly Bean includes the newest Asus Transformer devices, the Samsung Galaxy S2 is being tested right now as we mentioned above, Nexus S is underway via OTA, the HTC One S and XL is on its way, the SDK for Android Jelly Bean 4.1 is Nexus 7 ready, we have also mentioned about the Android 4.1 Jelly Bean port for HTC HD2, for more information on the Jelly Bean please visit our dedicated tag page.

how do i update my SGS3 to jelly bean?
just wait for the jelly bean update by connecting your phone to your computer. make it sure you installed SAMSUNG KIES.
samsung kies inform you if there are some available updates such as firmware etc.
To fix connection issues with kies you need to phone into stock recovery and wipe cache and reboot , this method works providing your drivers and kies is installedÂ
My Nexus X is just downloading Android Jelly Bean, I bought the phone 1 year ago. Am waiting for my HTC One X to update to Jelly Bean. Am in Paris last few weeks and have a lot of issues with HTC not always finding the Network connection if WiFi not available?
Oops meant Nexus S
I love my SGS3 so far. I have two small irritations however. Firstly, and this has nothing to do with the phone itself, is Samsung Kies. That has to be the worst software in existance. Every time I try to connect my phone to my computer i have to reinstall the USB drivers, and even then there is no guarantee that it will connect. Secondly, the brightness of the screen in direct sunlight is nothing to write home about. I wish there was some way to turn it up some more. Everything is turned up to the max as it is. Other than that, excellent product.
My biggest irritations with Samsung in general is their general lack of ability to update their devices in a timely fashion.
I only use allshare pla, best app ever!!
Just had a new update on the Galaxy s3Â UKÂ changed from LFB to LG6
Same as only thing noticed so far is browser
