If you are one of the iOS faithful out there that often forgets where you parked your vehicle, you might like to consider an iOS app available for the iPhone 4S along with the Find My Car Smarter Device that will help you locate your parked vehicle, let you know how long you have parked for, and how far away your vehicle is.

The Find My Car app started life as a Kickstarter project by that was looking for a funding goal of $10,000 but received $40,177 in pledges by the end of January 2012, and as such the Find My Car Smarter Device is available to purchase from their website at a cost of $25, whilst the Find My Car app is available to download from iTunes at a cost of $0.99.

The Find My Car iOS app requires an iPhone 4S along with the Find My Car Smarter device or compatible Bluetooth Smart Device, and once plugged into your car and paired with your iPhone, when you click on the Find My car app you will be presented with a map to guide you back to your vehicle.

The Find My Car Smarter app for the iPhone has recently been updated to include Geofence support for better user experience and reliability. So if you already use the Find My Car app for the iPhone you can now grab the update from iTunes.
