As the first Android Jelly Bean tablet from the Google guys was meant to take on the Amazon Kindle Fire in the tablet space, just how do the two slates compare with each other when they go head to head? Well what we have for your readers viewing consideration below is a comparison video between the Amazon Kindle Fire and the Google Nexus 7.
The Google Nexus 7 versus the Amazon Kindle Fire comparison video comes our way courtesy of the guys over at Phone Arena who have actually down an in-depth written comparison between the two tablets, which you can enjoy by hitting up their website, but if you don’t have time for that full on comparison you can simply check out the video below.
The guys start off with the design and say that both are quite similar, especially as the tablet’s footprints are virtually identical, but to stated that to them the Google Nexus 7 is more pleasing to hold in the hand than the Amazon Kindle Fire, as the Nexus 7 is skinnier and lighter than the Amazon slate.
When it comes to the display, the Nexus 7 trumps the Kindle Fire hands down, as the Google slate is sharper, from a distance you probably wouldn’t notice the difference, but up close fine details on the Nexus 7 are indeed sharper, and although both slates have IPS LCD panels, the Kindle Fire has a warmer tone whilst the Nexus 7 has a cooler one.
Obviously both the Google Nexus 7 and Amazon Kindle Fire command the same 200-buck price tag and are battling it out in the tablet space, but I’ll leave it right there so you can head on down and mash that play button to check our the comparison footage for yourself…enjoy.
