If you are in the market for a low-end Android smartphone, and have been considering the two new handsets from T-Mobile in the form of the myTouch and myTouch Q handsets, which are due release on the 8th of next month, but can’t quite make up your mind, perhaps a traditional unboxing and hands on video might go some way in helping you make up your mind.
Thus below we have a T-Mobile myTouch and myTouch Q unboxing and hands-on video for your viewing consideration, which comes our way courtesy of the guys over at Slash Gear who managed to get hold of the Android smartphones, and put them through the paces.
Both myTouch devices have been manufactured by Huawei and have been branded as T-Mobile handsets, and are essentially the same device with identical specifications, with the exception of the myTouch Q sporting a slide out QWERTY keyboard.
Those specs offer a 4-inch WVGA touch screen, a 5 megapixel rear facing camera, 720p video, a 0.3 megapixel front facing camera, HSPA+, a 1.4GHz single core processor , 4GB internal storage, microSD expansion and a 1500mAh battery, and run Android 2.3.6 Gingerbread.
Size wise, both handsets are relatively small with the T-Mobile myTouch measuring 0.56 x 2.5 x 4.9-inches, which the T-Mobile myTouch Q measures 0.41 x 2.46 x 4.5-inches.
Anyway that’s enough from me, I’ll leave it right there and let you head on down to hit that play button and check out T-Mobile’s two new Android offerings for yourself…enjoy.
