Samsung fans might be aware that Sammy’s latest device, the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 goes on sale in the United Kingdom as of today, and last night Samsung decided to throw a star studded launch party in London, and amongst the attending celebrities was none other than pop star Kylie Minogue, along with several Team GB Olympic medallists, including Victoria Pendleton who won both gold and silver medals.
According to an article over on Phone Arena by way of Pocket-lint, both Kelly Brook and Noel Clarke both took to the stage to demonstrate how to use Samsung’s S Pen stylus improves the slate’s experience through image and video manipulation, whist the launch of the new Android Ice Cream Sandwich slate was hosted by Vernon Kay.
However it was kylie Minogue who was the real star of the event, who sung Wow, Wow, Wow as her first song whilst featuring a bespoke prop/dress that had been commissioned by Samsung especially for the singer by fashion designer Matthew Williamson, a large pink dress that was adorned by numerous Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 tablets.
Price wise if you are in the UK and wish to purchase the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 the device commands a price tag of 399-quid for the 16GB WiFi version.
Spec reminder for the Galaxy Note 10.1…a 10.1-inch WXGA LCD touch screen along with a 5 megapixel rear facing camera, a 1.9 megapixel front facing snapper, a 1.4GHz Exynos quad core processor, 2GB RAM, 7000mAh battery, microSD expansion up to 32GB, Android Ice Cream Sandwich OS and that S Pen stylus of course.
