If you are an Android fan over in the great white of Canada, and prefer your smartphone to have a nice white flavour rather than black, you might like to know that the Virgin Mobile Motorola Motoluxe smartphone has been given a bit of a jacket makeover and is now available to purchase sporting a crisp white jacket, although obviously this is purely a cosmetic makeover and the specs of the enter level Android handset remain the same.
The news of the white version of the Motorola Motoluxe on Virgin Mobile becoming available comes our way courtesy of the guys over at Rootzwiki and by way of Mobile Syrup, and the Android 2.3 Gingerbread handset is up for grabs over at Best Buy.ca commanding a very reasonable price tag of $24.99.
That $24.99 price tag is based of course on signing your life away for a three year period with Virgin Mobile; however if you do wish to forego that commitment, you can snap up the white Motorola Motoluxe off contract for $229.99 outright.
Spec wise just in case you have forgotten, the Android handset offers a 4-inch FWVGA touch screen, along with an 8 megapixel rear facing auto-focus camera with LED flash, a VGA front facing camera, 3G, WiFi, Bluetooth 3.0, DNLA, GPS, an 800Mhz processor, up to 300MB memory, microSD expansion up to 32GB, a 3.5mm jack, measures 117.7 x 60.5 x 9.8mm with a weight of 123.6 grams, and a 1400mAh battery.
And that’s about your lot, so we’d like to hear from any of our Canadian readers out there is they will be snapping up the Motorola Motoluxe in white in the not too distant future?
