Lenovo LePhone K860 quad-core 5-inch Android smartphone
Back in June the latest Android smartphone from Lenovo was spotted on a mobile blog in Japan, and that smartphone was the Lenovo LePhone K860 handset, which Lenovo has now gone official and announced the Android 4.0.4 smartphone, but other than that not a great deal is known about the device, and Lenovo has also remained tight lipped on just when the LePhone K860 will become available or how much the handset will cost.
However, according to an article over on GSM Arena by way of Chinese site jrj.com, the Lenovo LePhone K860 sports a 5-inch HD touch screen along with and 8 megapixel rear facing camera with 1080p video and 100 short burst capability, a 2 megapixel front facing camera, and is powered by a Samsung Exynos 4412 quad core processor, which just happens to be the same as under the hood of the international Samsung Galaxy S3.
Apparently the Lenovo LePhone K860 supports both GSM and WCDMA networks, has 1GB of RAM, features a single SIM card, has microSD expansion slot along with a 3.5mm jack, and is said to come toting a 2250mAh battery along with running the Android Ice Cream Sandwich operating system.
The word is the Lenovo LePhone K860 is 9.6mm thick and weighs in at 185 grams, and that’s about your lot for the moment on this latest Lenovo smartphone, but as the device will run ICS when it becomes available, one can presume it will see an update to Android Jelly Bean at some point in the future.
