Acer Liquid Gallant handles on video at IFA 2012
Seems like a day for hands on videos, and as Acer were also present at IFA 2012 in Berlin, their new Acer Liquid Gallant ICS smartphone was on show, and of course we have a hands on video of the Android handset that will come in both single SIM and dual SIM variants for our readers viewing consideration below.
The hands on with the Acer Liquid Gallant smartphone video comes our way courtesy of the guys at Engadget who were on hand to check out the latest Android Ice Cream Sandwich handset from the Acer camp for a couple of minutes, and the guys say that although the handset is somewhat on the bulky side the device does give the impression is has been stacked together in layers.
Spec wise the Acer Liquid Gallant sports a 4.3-inch 960 x 540 qHD touch screen along with a 5 megapixel rear facing camera with LED flash, no front facing camera unfortunately, a 1GHz MTK6575 single core processor, 1GB RAM, 4GB internal storage, microSD expansion, and a fairly stock Android 4.0.4 experience, and a 3.5mm jack.
Other than that, there’s not much else to say about the Acer Liquid Gallant, no word on when or where the Android handset might be release, and obviously Acer hasn’t made any mention as to what the smartphone will cost.
Thus with all that said and down, I’ll simply leave you to head on down and hit that play button to check out the hands on footage so you can make up your own mind whether the Liquid Gallant is the Android ICS smartphone you would consider purchasing…enjoy.
