There are many users of the iPhone and other iOS devices looking forward to the release of the next version of the Apple operating system, iOS 6. We already know there will be a number of changes to the operating system when it finally becomes available, and now there is an iOS 6 Beta 4 install video for non-developers.
We have come across this video that can be seen below, and even though we recommend you not installing this, we thought we would show you anyway. The video in question has been uploaded to YouTube by a user called Eldridge Sibley, and during the process the user uses his Apple iPhone 4.
To achieve the update users need to have three downloads on their desktop that includes iTunes 10.6.3, iOS 5.1.1, and iOS 6 Beta 1. The devices that can be updated to the latest version of the iOS 6 Beta are the iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4/4S, iPod Touch 4G, iPad 2, and iPad 3.
To begin the process users have to first open up iTunes with their iOS device connected to the Mac or PC before doing a fresh restore of their device to the iOS 5.1.1 firmware. The person then goes on to warn users that have unlocked their device to steer clear of this process.
He then goes on to restore his iPhone 4 to the iOS 5.1.1 firmware via iTunes, and then sets the device up as a new iPhone. The user then shows you how to download the iOS 6 Beta 1, and shows some of the new features contained in the software such as Siri for iPad 3 users.
Users are advised that if they don’t like the firmware all they need to do is reconnect to iTunes to easily restore the device back to iOS 5.1.1. Will you try and update your device to iOS 6?
