Many of the iPhone faithful use their iOS smartphone heavily during the day, and quite often after making calls, texting, surfing the net, and using several apps the battery is going to drain, and obviously you will need to charge your iPhone after heavy use, but what if you had an iPhone case that allowed you to charge your iPhone with any USB device, would that be of interest?
Well there could well be a new iPhone case on its way that can do just that, and that case is called the Rivo case for iPhone, and is claimed to be the world’s slimmest iPhone charging case, and features a USB set into the back of the case that flips out so you can plug it into any USB port, whether in a vehicle, on a computer, a TV, a printer or other device.
Furthermore the Rivo case for iPhone can also be used for data transfer and backup by connecting the case to a computer and copying your images, videos, music and contacts to and from your iOS smartphone, and cuts out the need to carry a charger any more.
The Rivo case features flexible silicone for easy access along with a hard frame to protect your iPhone, and will be offered in three colours for the iPhone 4 and iPhone 4S, whilst there is a Rivo case designed for the iPhone 5 in red or black.
The difference the Rivo case to more bulkier competitor cases is that the Rivo case for the iPhone is just 2mm in thickness, whilst the USB connector is flexible so it can charge the iPhone battery wherever you are and whenever you want.
However currently you can’t purchase the Rivo iPhone case as the device is a Kickstarter project that is looking for a funding goal of $50,000 to get off the ground, and has thus far garnered $1,921 in pledges with 41-days to run, and unless the project reaches that goal by December the 2nd the Rivo case will not be funded.
We have embedded a promo video for the Rivo case for our readers viewing consideration below, so hit that play button and check out the iPhone case in action, and if you think you could make use of the Rivo case you can make a pledge to the project by hitting up the Rivo Kickstarter page.
