New Atari iOS & Android games like RollerCoaster Tycoon, Outlaw and more

There will be many of us who fondly remember the old Atari 2600 video game system that was a huge hit in the late 70s and in to the 1980s, with a number of classic titles being played in people’s homes. Some of these games are getting a new lease of life and we can now tell you that some new Atari iOS and Android games like RollerCoaster Tycoon, Outlaw and more are going to be made available.

The company already has the likes of the Greatest Hits app available for both platforms, but it has now announced that early next year it will be releasing RollerCoaster Tycoon for both the Android and iOS platforms. The game is based on the original classic game that has sold over 13 million copies so far, and sees players creating their own theme park. Users can choose from pre-designed rollercoaster designs or build their own creations from scratch.

Coming in December for the iPad, Android, and Facebook is Dungeons & Dragons: Warbands, which is a turn-based strategy game. The game is the first Dungeons & Dragons title to hit the iOS platform, and is surely going to prove popular.

Due by the end of the year is the free Atari Casino that allows players to try their luck on Atari themed slot machines, blackjack, and Atari arcade mini games. The game adds a social element to it so Atari and casino fans can have hours of fun.

Being released next month to iOS is the free Outlaw game that originates on the Atari 2600 system, but is now a touchscreen shooter with the Western themes from the original hit. Gunslingers go up against towns that are full with bandits making sure they get their aim right.

Also next month the company is going to offer a free iOS update to Centipede: Origins, which will see all new content with new weapons and maps to enjoy. November also sees the release of the free Deer Hunter Online game onto Facebook, which sees players creating their hunter before going out to hunt the biggest bucks.
