It appears that there will be a new Android 10.1-inch slate becoming available to the UK Android faithful at some point this year from Toshiba. A rather simplistic looking slate that doesn’t feature any front buttons, and commands a reasonably affordable price tag if you don’t mind your Android tablet being a tad generic and ordinary looking.
That new 10.1-inch tablet is the Toshiba AT300SE, and news of the device coming to the UK market comes our way courtesy Phone Arena, with Toshiba unveiling the AT300SE slate, which is 10.5mm in thickness and weighs in at 625 grams.
The Toshiba AT300SE features a 10-inch 1280 x 800 pixels touch screen of course along with1GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage, whilst being powered by an NVIDIA Tegra 3 quad core processor, and can apparently last up to ten hours on a single charge.
The Android slate also features a 3 megapixel rear facing camera along with a 1.2 megapixel front facing snapper, has microSD expansion up to 64GB and runs the Android Jelly Bean 4.1 operating system.
Naturally being an Android tablet the user gets access to all the usual Google services along with Google Play, and there is also Bluetooth 3.0, GPS, and WiFi, whilst the tablet features a monotone patterned back.
Other than that, not a great deal else is know about the tablet, other than the Toshiba AT300SE is destined to arrive in the United Kingdom starting in the forth quarter of 2012, and will apparently command a price tag of £299.99.
Do any of our Android readers in the UK find the Toshiba AT300SE attractive enough to want to own one when it becomes available?
