For those Android customers over in the good old US of A that are faithful to Cricket, you just might be pleased to hear that the carrier will be bringing the very popular Samsung Galaxy S3 to their Android smartphone line-up as of the 23rd of this month, so customers can take advantage of the Galaxy S3 on their 4G LTE network.
The senior vice president of devices for Cricket, Matt Stoiber has said that the Samsung Galaxy S3 will be available at Cricket in time for the holidays, and they are proud to offer their customers the highest wireless tech on one of the coolest smartphones in the market.
The Samsung Galaxy S3 will play nice on Cricket’s new 4G LTE Android Double Data service plans, which offer double the monthly full speed data allowance that are offered in Cricket’s 3G plans for a limited time only. With the 4G LTE Android Double Data Rate Plan, at $50 allowing 2GB of full speed data, whilst the $60 plan offers 5GB and the $70 plan provides 10GB.
The introduction of the Galaxy S3 follows Cricket’s announcement that their 4G LTE service is now available in Phoenix, Philadelphia, Austin, Laredo, Corpus Christi, San Antonio, and the Brownsville-McAllen-Harlingen market.
I’m pretty sure everyone knows what the Galaxy S3 has to offer, but here’s a quick reminder, a 4.8-inch Super AMOLED HD touch screen, along with an 8 megapixel rear facing camera, and a 1.9 megapixel front facing snapper, a 1.5GHz dual core processor, 16GB internal memory, a 2100mAh battery, and runs Android Ice Cream Sandwich.
