Vodafone Red Hot UK customers can rent a smartphone
Those that favour the Vodafone network over here in the United Kingdom might be pleased to know that the carrier has now launched Vodafone Red Hot, a plan that has been designed to enable pay monthly users to rent some of the carrier’s hottest smartphones, along with changing them every year without needing to shell out large upfront payments.
Vodafone Red Hot provides customers with 2GB of internet and WiFi along with unlimited calls and texts over a 12 month contract, and Vodafone Red Hot is available on three smartphones from £47 per month and includes insurance, a personalised handset case and screen protector as standard.
Once their year long contract expires, the customer can then either extend their contract or opt to swap their handset for a newer smartphone.
Vodafone Red Hot is available for customer that wish to rent the Samsung Galaxy S3 or Samsung Galaxy Note 2 or the iPhone 5, with Vodafone adding more devices to the range over the coming months. So for example the 16GB Samsung Galaxy S3 is available on Vodafone Red Hot for £47 per month with no upfront outlay.
With Vodafone Red Hot, the customer gets unlimited calls to all UK mobiles, and standard UK lines, whilst not being restricted on how many people a customer can call or how long they talk for.
The consumer director of Vodafone UK, Srini Gopalan has commented that Vodafone Red Hot is another way for customers to keep one step ahead of their friends by having the latest mobile tech in their hands along with a large amount of internet, unlimited call and texts, and feel that many users will see Vodafone Red Hot as a great choice.
Seems like a reasonable deal to me, although £47 per month just might be a little too steep for some considering the financial climate in the UK, but I guess it depends on just how much you want a top notch smartphone.
Any of our readers with Vodafone going to be taking advantage of the Vodafone Red Hot offer?
