There is a new smartphone on the horizon by the name of ZTE Grand X Pro and it could be one that may rival the likes of the Samsung galaxy S3 and the Note 2. Looks like this could be another 5-inch handset; we say looks like because there are no specs or features at the moment for the new ZTE model.
What is interesting is the edge-to-edge display and we know that phones such as the Droid RAZR M has this feature, but we still believe the nearest rivals will be the Galaxy S3 and the Note 2. The photo of the ZTE Grand X Pro has been leaked by none other than @evleaks and it is hard to say at the moment who they are going after because the specs are kept hidden away for now, so we will judge this on what we see.
Looking at the photo below we will speculate our own specs and it would be good to see if we are right or wrong when the official specs release, so here goes head on the block time.
We clearly see edge-to-edge display and we say the display size will be between 4.8 to 5-inches, 1.5 to 1.8GHz quad-core processor, 2GB of RAM, 8-megapixel rear-facing camera, and similar resolution of the Samsung Galaxy S3 at 720 x 1280 pixels.
We here at Phones Review suggest that ZTE should consider sticking with a smartphone route rather than a phablet route, many consumers love the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 but then a lot prefer the Galaxy S3. The Note 2 has a huge 5.5-inch display anything along those lines would be silly, stick to the sizes we suggest above and you may have a winner on your hands.
ZTE going up against the Samsung flavours is a little optimistic, but hey stranger things have happened. We may be wrong of course but looking at the ZTE Grand X Pro it is most definitely an Android smartphone and will come with top-notch specs. Stay with us because we will bring you much more on this handset as soon as we know more, in the meantime why not suggest what specifications and features you think it may have.
Can it really compete with the likes of the Samsung Galaxy S3 and Galaxy Note 2?
