We have not held back our enthusiasm about the Google Nexus 4 smartphone from LG. However we have had criticism about the way the product launch was handled with demand far outstripping supply and neither Google nor LG seemingly near to be on top of this just yet. For today though we want to focus on the positive aspects of this Nexus device and we have a couple of videos for you that really show the full eye candy potential of this very impressive phone.
Despite the sorry saga of the shortages of the Nexus 4, it doesn’t take anything away from the fact that this is a very desirable handset indeed, with not only top-notch specs but also an extremely reasonable price. The two videos that we have embedded below for you will give readers a good look at the phone, which is just as well considering many have not yet managed to get their hands on one to take a look for themselves.
The first video is a product ad by LG that exhibits some of the great features of the Nexus 4 and shows its promise. As if it wasn’t in enough demand already this is likely to have even more people drooling. In the video we see the phone in action displaying its merits such as the quad-core processor, beautiful 4.7-inch True HD IPS display, the goodies in the Google Play Store, Android Beam and more. The two-minute Nexus 4 Product Movie by LG can be seen below this story and if you didn’t want one before, you may well have changed your mind once you’ve viewed it.
The second video concentrates on the camera of the Nexus 4 and in particular the new Photo Sphere function. It’s another short one at just over one-minute long but really does show the best of this feature and what it has to offer. From what we can see this could really change the way that many of us take photographs, particularly of group gatherings. It shows a family photo being taken in the Christmas holidays but instead of the stress involved gathering all the family in a line and trying to get them to cheesily smile at the same time, this group shot shows various groups of people engaged in different activities and then creates one brilliant image showing them all.
Now if only there was a way to get your hands on a Nexus 4 before the holidays we could see plenty of people purchasing it just for the Photo Sphere facility alone! We’d like to hear your thoughts on these two videos and how they show off the Nexus 4? Did you already want one or has anything you’ve seen here made you decide this will be your next choice of smartphone? Send your comments to let us know.
