HMDX Jam Plus & Party Speakers Unveiled at CES Show
CES 2013 officially runs from January 8 to 11 in Las Vegas but press events are already taking place and some products that have already been unveiled are the HMDX Jam Plus & Party speakers. These new Bluetooth speakers are due to go on sale this spring and the Jam Plus may interest many readers as it is the successor to HMDX’s Jam Classic Bluetooth speaker and as with other HMDX products it comes in a distinctive glass jar.
The HMDX Jam Plus has some similar features to the Jam Classic with similar sound quality except that the new Jam Plus delivers deeper bass as it has a larger design. It offers around 4 hours of wireless play from its rechargeable battery and can work with Bluetooth-enabled devices at a distance of up to 30 feet away. When it releases it will be priced at $59.99.
One of its key appeal factors is that it can deliver a two-channel stereo experience as the Jam Plus can be paired with another Plus speaker. The user can even have the exact same listening experience across two different rooms as when coupled, both speakers can be set to mono and the speakers can also be designated left or right.
For those who want more power from a Bluetooth speaker there is the larger HMDX Jam Party speaker bar, also due for a spring 2013 release and this time priced at $119.99, according to Cnet. This is a speaker bar around the size of a Jawbone Jambox, but the compact speaker has the combined power of four speakers, something that should attract plenty of buyers. HMDX looks to be building on the success of the Jam Classic that was released in June 2012 and from what we can see these new Bluetooth speakers have a lot to offer.
If we hear more details regarding specific release dates we shall of course, keep readers informed. We’d like to hear your thoughts on these two upcoming HMDX speakers so do let us have your comments on these. Do you think the pricing sounds reasonable?
