Pre-order pricey 10.1-inch KUPA Ultranote X15 Windows 8 Tablet

Since it was launched late last year we are beginning to see more products running the new Microsoft Windows 8 operating system. In a similar way to the Android platform we are seeing products being launched by a number of companies that may not be as well known as others, and today we have news of a pre-order for the pricey 10.1-inch KUPA Ultranote X15 Windows 8 tablet.

Earlier today we brought you news of a couple of other new products on the Windows 8 platform, and the Kupa Ultranote X15 is another worthy device that uses the new Microsoft OS with some high-end specifications.

It has either the Intel Core i5 or i7 processor that is paired with a massive 8GB of RAM under the hood, and these internals are powering a 10.1-inch IPS display with a resolution of 1920 x 1200 at an aspect ratio of 16:10. Some other notable features of the X15 include a removable battery, and an optional keyboard dock that will turn the device into a notebook.

There is also a side panel that could eventually allow the addition of other docking components if they ever become available from the company. The base model has the Intel Core i5-3317U Ivy Bridge processor using a 64GB solid state disk, and there is the option of paying more for extra storage with this model priced at $1099.

If you go up to the Core i7-3517U processor with 128GB of storage and 3G connectivity the price then leaps up to $1599. Both versions feature front and rear cameras, twin USB 3.0 ports, mini HDMI ports, VGA port, SD card port, and Bluetooth.

If you are interested in the KUPA Ultranote X15 Windows 8 tablet Dynamism is taking pre-orders now. Do you think the KUPA Ultranote X15 is too expensive?
