iOS 6.1.1 evasi0n killer update, fixes iPhone 4S 3G problems
Last night Apple released its new iOS 6.1.1 update that now fixes the iPhone 4S reliability and performance, another words the dreaded 3G issues that have been plaguing the Apple smartphone for a while now. If you are considering downloading the new iOS 6.1.1 update you may want to consider thinking again if you have used the new evasi0n jailbreak tool.
This new 86.8MB update has come at the right time considering we reported 3 days ago about Vodafone sending text message, warning its customers not to install iOS 6.1 because of 3G problems and advised they wait for Apple to fix 3G performance with a new update.
If you do own the iPhone 4S going into your settings then click General and then Software Update, you can also connect to your PC etc and use iTunes for the latest update. This is NOT an update for the iPhone 5, this model is up-to-date with iOS 6.1, and the 6.1.1 is for the iPhone 4S only.
WARNING: If you have already used the evasi0n jailbreak tool on your iPhone 4S, we suggest you steer clear of the new iOS 6.1.1 update. We suggest you wait for evasi0n to do an update or you will lose the jailbreak, just so you all know there is a feature with the evasi0n jailbreak that will stop you using OTA updates, it will disable it.
If you have installed the new iOS 6.1.1 update onto your iPhone 4S, please do let us know if your problems have been fixed?

Yes, the battery problem has been fixed well and good. With emails set to push at hourly interval, my 4S battery could now last a whole day.
