We had an email press release sent to us that was embargoed until 4am this morning revealing the new Fujitsu Stylistic S01 smartphone with Orange aimed at the elderly, 4am is not the normal time we would like to be up so we are now sharing with you about Fujitsu and Orange partnering for the growing senior market in Europe.
France Telecom-Orange and Fujitsu Limited announced that they are partnering to bring a new smartphone to the market with an expected June 2013 with Orange in France. The new Stylistic S01 smartphone will come with Orange services such as Orange Cineday and Orange et Moi and comes with many functions to reduce certain barriers for maximising full use.
Some smartphones of today no longer offer tactile screens, but the STYLISTIC S01 has the unique screen technology that when icons are pressed it is like pressing on a physical home button. The icons are extra large as well and the phone also comes with a loud personal security alarm for emergency situations.
Main features Include: GSM/GPRS/EDGE/UMTS/HSPA, 4-inch WVGA (800×480) touchscreen with unique tactile feedback technology, Wi-Fi/Bluetooth, GPS, 8.1 MP rear and 0.3 MP front cameras, it also features a microSD card slot as well as 4 GB storage built-in, runs on Android Ice Cream Sandwich 4.0, powered by a Qualcomm MSM8255 1.4 GHz processor and has a 1800 mAh.
