Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean AOSP is the latest build and it is suggested that it does not come with any major changes but does improve the overall security. The thing is, when you use custom ROMS such as the AOKP Build 4 you will experience the AOSP as well as many other additional customization.

The AOKP team have stepped up to the plate and ported previous AOKP released features in this build, for Galaxy S3 T999 owners your device must be rooted to carry on with the Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean based custom ROM AOKP Build 4. The Verizon Galaxy S3 SCH-I535 can enjoy the new AOKP JB-MR1 Build 4 based on Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean and it is relatively easy to install.

Please remember to back up your Samsung Galaxy S3 and we have to let you know that the AOKP build 4 based on Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean is still under development, it may contain bugs and a few issues even though we have been told it all works fine.
