While customers of AT&T have been enjoying the Nokia Lumia 920 flagship smartphone, subscribers of rival carrier Verizon have had to make do with handsets that are not up to the specs of the Lumia 920 if they want a Windows Phone 8 handset. It seems though that the Nokia Lumia 928 Verizon availability is getting nearer after some parts for the yet to be announced handset appear.
There has been a whole host of rumours surrounding the Nokia Lumia 928 and its release on US carrier Verizon Wireless, which most recently included some accessories going up for sale even before the handset has been announced by the carrier or manufacturer.
Now some components for the handset have appeared that clearly show some Verizon branding on the top of the device and comes via ETrade Supply. The component supplier has the option for consumers to purchase an LCD screen and digitizer assembly for the Nokia Lumia 928, and fits in with earlier images that have appeared of the device previously.
It is expected that the Nokia Lumia 928 coming to Verizon Wireless will feature some design changes compared to the Lumia 920, which are said to include a thinner and lighter chassis that is also manufactured from aluminium.
There is also claimed to be a Xenon flash alongside the standard LED flash that will provide even better low light images from the handsets camera, but until it is confirmed officially all this remains speculation.
Will you be getting the Nokia Lumia 928?
