There is no doubting that the anticipation for the release of the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 is growing, and while the company has confirmed when the device will be launching along with the handsets screen size not much else is really known. Now there is a growing possibility that the device will not feature the Samsung Octa Core processor as part of its internal specs.
Leading up to the launch of the Galaxy S4 it was wondered if the device would feature the new Samsung Exynos 5 Octa core processor, which turned out to be the case depending on what region you lived in.
The processor has been tipped to be in the Galaxy Note 3 but according to ZDNet Korea Samsung may actually decide to put the Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 power plant inside the new 5.9-inch phablet device.
Now there is the chance that Samsung will do the same thing it has with the S4 with certain regions still getting the Exynos 5 processor, but the company may just us the Snapdragon 800 in all Note 3 units.
The company has recently announced it will be holding a special Galaxy and Ativ press event in London next month, which is expected to see some sort of new hardware showcased. While there has been some hoping it would be for the Note 3 it is more likely to feature the rumoured new Galaxy S4 models.
Whatever processor the company does use inside the Galaxy Note 3 owners of the device will certainly be provided with a powerful device that will also continue the trend of the older model and have great battery life.
