With the amount of different new smartphones constantly being released the team here on Phones Review try and provide news on a variety of handsets that cover all budgets and uses. Today we have news of the LG Optimus F3 on Sprint that aids the visually or hearing impaired.
The new handset from LG that leaked last month will be available to all users but the device features some special features that are aimed at the blind or hearing impaired users. The handset features a 4-inch IPS WVGA display at a resolution of 480 x 800 that is also protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 2.
This is powered by a dual core processor clocked at 1.2GHz running the Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean operating system with a 5-meagpixel rear facing camera that is capable of Full HD video capture. The device is competitively priced as well as it is available with a new two year contract for only $29.99 after a $50 mail in rebate.
The handset has Google TalkBack already installed that is a text to speech accessibility application, and for users that may be hearing impaired the LG Optimus F3 has a spectrum of LED colours that change depending what is coming into the phone such as text messages, phone calls, and calendar appointments .
Customers of the carrier can pick the handset up in silver or purple from June 14th and obviously will be available to all users.
