On the Android platform there are constantly new smartphones being released especially away from the flagship devices. Consumers are constantly being treated to mid-range and entry level handsets in what seems like a daily basis. This week the Micromax Canvas 4 was launched and now a Xolo Q1000s is rumoured to be released shortly with a better price and specs.
The Micromax Canvas 4 was launched a few days ago too much disappointment among those that were thinking of purchasing the device, which has seen many customers cancel their pre-orders for the smartphone.
Now though a new Xolo Q1000s smartphone is rumoured to be coming by the end of this month that is not only cheaper than the Micromax Canvas 4, it will also have some better specifications. The device is rumoured to be based on the latest quad core Mediatek 6589T processor and clocked at 1.5GHz with 1GB of RAM.
The device is rumoured to be priced at Rs. 16,999 which compares to the RS. 17,999 of the Micromax Canvas 4 and the Xolo is believed to feature a 5-inch HD touchscreen display along with a 13-megapixel rear facing camera, and a 5-megapixel front facer.
Software wise the handset will be running the Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean operating system and will support at least 21 Mbps 3G speeds, as well as Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 4.0. The handset is believed to measure only 6.8mm thick, and comes after we recently told you about another Canvas 4 rival in the form of the iBerry Auxus Nuclea N1, which is around the same price but features a Full HD 5-inch display.
Have you decided to get something else instead of the Micromax Canvas 4?
