HTC One Mini officially announced, release soon
Smartphone manufacturer HTC has been seeing more positives results in the mobile world recently since it provided consumers with its latest flagship handset, and now the HTC One Mini has been officially announced with a global release starting soon.
After months of speculation and rumours the HTC One Mini has finally been made official with the handset set to be released in select markets next month with this expanding further in September. The device continues the premium feel of its bigger brother with an aluminium rear cover with polycarbonate sides and front.
The device has a 4.3-inch S-LCD3 touchscreen display at a resolution of 1280 x 720 and 341ppi, which is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor clocked at 1.4GHz along with an Adreno 305 GPU and 1GB of RAM.
It has the same 4-megapixel UltraPixel rear facing camera as the bigger version along with a 1.6-megapixel front facer, and there is 16GB of on board memory that isn’t expandable. Other specs include Bluetooth 4.0, 4G LTE support, BoomSound support, and a non-removable 1,800 mAh battery.
The HTC One Mini will ship with the Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean operating system along with the HTC Sense 5 overlay and BlinkFeed, and consumers will have the choice of Glacial Silver or Stealth Black colour options.
There is the chance that the European region along with the UK could be among the markets that get access to the HTC One Mini first, and hopefully more will be revealed in the coming days.
Will you consider the HTC One Mini?
