There have been a few iPad 5 designs featuring slimmer bezels over the last few weeks, and today we can show you more photos that are based on the iPad mini design.

The photos you see here courtesy of Fanatic Fone shows the supposedly iPad 5 rear casing shell, and these take the design goodness from the iPad mini. If these are to be real then that means the iPad 5 will have thinner side bezels and a smaller from factor all round.

The edges shows that they are rounder than the iPad 4, no iPad 5 specs have leaked as of yet so we will have to wait a little longer for these. This rear shell you see here is in silver and other than the mini design-like features it shows separate volume buttons unlike the rocker buttons found on the iPad 4.

In one of the photos it looks like there are two speakers and lightning port, not really much to go on about true sizes and it does not give anything away on how large the display will be.

The iPad 5 launch is expected next month, we will keep a close eye on all iPad 5 and iPad mini 2 news and soon as we know more we will notify you.

Yesterday we reported about Apple apparently looking into launching a new iPad 5 with a 12.9-inch display, personally we cannot see this happening but as they say – you never know until announcements have been made.
