Samsung Ativ S Neo features, only for Sprint
We first heard of the Samsung Ativ S Neo back in June. This is a Windows Phone handset and although some initial specs were available, the complete specs were not given. However, the Samsung website now officially shows the phone and lists the Samsung Ativ S Neo features and specs. This phone will only be available for Sprint and we also have a release date for potential customers.
Specs-wise the Samsung Ativ S Neo is very similar to the Ativ S, although the Neo has an LCD display rather than the Super AMOLED display of the international Ativ S. The processor of the Ativ S Neo also has a lower clock speed than for the Ativ S, but the majority of the remaining specs are comparable.
The Samsung Ativ S Neo has a 1.4GHz dual-core processor, 4.8-inch display with resolution of 1280 x 720, 1GB of RAM, and 16GB of internal storage, expandable via microSD to 64GB. It also has an 8-megapixel rear camera, 1.9-megapixel front-facing camera and 2000 mAh battery, LTE, and it runs Windows Phone 8.
Features include People Hub and Live Tiles, Microsoft Office Mobile, and Ativ Beam that enables the sharing of files through NFC by simply tapping devices. The Ativ S Neo is expected to release on Friday, although this hasn’t been confirmed yet. The price hasn’t been officially revealed, but it’s thought it will be around $150 on contract after a $50 mail-in rebate.
You can see more about the features and specs of the Samsung Ativ S Neo for Sprint at the Samsung product page here. Are you intending to purchase Sprint’s first high-end Windows Phone 8 device? What are your thoughts on the Samsung Ativ S Neo? Let us know with your comments.

Yes, since Nokia still does not look to be on the horizon in Sprints W8 lineup. Will pick it up when it becomes available. Hopefully Friday.
