Lava Iris 356, 402 prices and specifications
Lava has just launched two new smartphones for the Indian market; both the Lava Iris 356 and Lava Iris 402 are entry-level Android handsets that are priced very low indeed.
Let’s start off with the Lava Iris 356 Android 4.2 Jelly Bean smartphone, this one features a 3.5-inch HVGA display with a resolution of 480 x 320 pixels, a rather small 1500mAh battery but considering the specs are not high-end it is ample enough to last.
The Iris 356 battery is small but promises to provide up to 200 hours of stand-by time and 5 hours of talk time, it comes with a dual-core processor, GPS with A-GPS, 3G, EDGE/GPRS and WiFi capabilities. It has a rather small 1.3-megapixel camera on the rear and a VGA shooter on the front; it also has a microSD card slot for up to 32GB more memory.
Next up is the Lava Iris 402 featuring a dual-core 1.2GHz processor and Android 4.2 Jelly Bean operating system, this one also comes with a 1500mAh battery and all the above. The only difference with the Iris 402 is its 4-inch WVGA display with a resolution of 480 x 800 pixels and better cameras at 3MP with flash at the rear and 1.3MP on the front.
Both of these Lava smartphones come with 256 MB RAM and 512 MB ROM, the Lava Iris 356 price is only Rs 4,499, and the Iris 402 is priced at Rs 5,499. Just a quick recap, the Lava Iris Pro in coming soon, stay with us to be notified.
