Simmtronics XPad Mini 7.85-inch Android tablet for India
The new Simmtronics XPad Mini tablet for India has just been launched and this one is Indian built as well, this is the first tablet priced really low with a quad-core processor.
This new tablet made in India comes running Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean, and features a 1 GHz quad-core processor, other features include 8GB of internal storage that can be expanded up to 32GB, 1GB of RAM, 7.85-inch IPS display, 5-megapixel rear camera, 2-megapixel front facing-camera and a 4000mAh battery.
The XPad Mini also has Bluetooth, HDMI, Wi-Fi and measures only 200 x 134 x 8mm, the casing has a metal metallic finish so it looks premium like the iPad mini, even though this would never compete with the Apple tablet it is very cheap at only Rs. 9,999.
It also has resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels and the ability to play full HD videos, a quad-core tablet for only Rs. 9,999 is very good indeed and can see this doing well once it goes on sale.
In a way Simmtronics is trying to be like Apple by having larger tablets and now a new mini version, just like the iPad and the iPad mini. There are a few Android tablets you can buy in India, but we cannot see you getting a better deal considering this is a quad-core CPU unit at a very low cost running Android Jelly bean.
Please let us know if you live in India and interested in the new Simmtronics XPad Mini tablet?
