This can be put down to the shape of the Ultra with its square design, and despite the Galaxy having more mid-range specs its price doesn’t really reflect that. The Sony is thinner than the Galaxy handset though as you can see when they are put side-by-side.
The Ultra is also the more premium feeling phone to hold and to look at with its glass back and aluminium sides, while the Samsung continues the trend of plastic bodied handsets from the company.
Samsung has fitted the usual replaceable rear cover that allows the removal of the battery while the Sony has a unibody make up so no removable battery, but this provides the device with its dust and waterproofing.
The video continues to run through the specs of each handset with Android 4.2.2 present on the two smartphones. This video is almost 14 minutes long and continues to compare various features of the two handsets at the same time, which includes video playback and camera performance.
