The Samsung Galaxy Note 3 was officially announced last week, and one of the most coveted smartphones of the year will be available in just a few more weeks. We already gave readers news about Verizon pre-orders, and now we have Galaxy Note 3 Verizon, AT&T and T-Mobile release and price details.
The Galaxy Note 3 is another impressive Android device from the Samsung stable and will release on September 25 in some regions. However, when we gave details of pre-orders on Verizon we noted that there could be some frustration among US buyers as the Note 3 wouldn’t release stateside until some point in October.
It has often been the case with Samsung devices that the release in the US occurs some time after other regions, but thankfully with news of firm US carrier release dates we now know that it won’t be too much longer than elsewhere.
Verizon is taking pre-orders now, and the phone will ship on the carrier from October 10. The price has also been confirmed as $299.99 on the usual two-year contract or with Verizon Edge it will cost you $29.16 per month with no down payment. There’s also a bundle for the Galaxy Note 3 and Galaxy Gear smartwatch priced at $599.98 on contract.
AT&T is also taking pre-orders for the Galaxy Note 3 and will start shipping on October 1. The price on AT&T is $299.99 on contract or with AT&T Next it will cost $35 per month. The US versions of the Galaxy Note 3 will by powered by a 2.3GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 quad-core processor.
Turning to T-Mobile the Galaxy Note 3 will launch on October 2. The price on T-Mobile’s Simple Choice Plan is a $199.99 down payment followed by $21 monthly payments for 24 months. Pre-orders are not available yet but T-Mobile does have a registration page so that you can be notified when pre-orders open.
A bonus incentive with T-Mobile for those who register an interest in the device, is that they will be entered into a sweepstake to win the Galaxy Note 3 and Galaxy Gear smartwatch if they sign-up before September 15.
We’ve also just noted that Sprint has a signup page for the Note 3 where you can pre-register. If you’re reading this then you are obviously interested in the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 so you may also want to check out our comparison with the Galaxy S4, and also an article about the differences between the Note 3 and Note 2.
Fortunately the release dates of the Galaxy Note 3 in the US that we’ve heard so far are all in the first part of the month. Therefore US customers won’t have to wait too much longer than those in other worldwide regions.
We always appreciate comments from readers so do let us know if you are intending to purchase the Samsung Galaxy Note 3? Which carrier will you head to, and what are your thoughts on pricing for this flagship phablet device?
