The low to mid-range Sony Xperia M released last month for some regions but until now has not been on sale for the US. However, there’s good news today if you’ve been hoping to get this smartphone, as the unlocked Sony Xperia M is now available in the US.
The Xperia M is being sold via Sony online at a price of $249.99 with next day shipping, remember this is the unlocked price. Color options for the phone are black, white, purple, or yellow, although presently the purple version is listed as temporarily out of stock at Sony online.
Specs of the device include a 1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Plus dual-core processor, Adreno 305 graphics, a 4-inch display with 854 x 480 resolution and 245 ppi, and 1GB of RAM. It has 4GB of internal storage, which is pretty low, although this is expandable via microSD to 32GB.
The Xperia M also totes a 5-megapixel rear camera with autofocus, LED flash and 720p video capture, a VGA front-facer, a 1750 mAh battery and runs the Android 4.1 Jelly Bean operating system.
